Painted Mirror

Today I am sharing a recent chalk paint project for the booth:

Please excuse the newspaper….

I purchased the gold framed mirror at an auction.  It has 1963 stamped on the back.

The lovely flowers were chipped in several places, so I didn’t feel any hesitation to paint it.

I dry brushed ASCP Provence first.

Then, I dry brushed ASCP Old White.

Finally, I sanded with 150 grit sandpaper to reveal the original gold and the Provence paint.

I love it.

I think I better drive to the booth with it right now before I find a spot for it at home!
